Aurore de Dauzac is the second wine of Château Dauzac, a 5th Growth Grand Cru Classé estate in the prestigious Margaux appellation of Bordeaux, France. The château traces its origins to 1190 and was officially classified in the landmark 1855 Bordeaux Classification. Celebrated winemaking consultant Éric Boissenot, who advises dozens of Classified Châteaux including Lafite, Margaux, Latour, and Mouton Rothschild, oversees production at Dauzac.

Crafted from vines rooted in a distinctive geological vein of fine gravel and sand, the wine is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, with occasional Petit Verdot, varying by vintage. After 12 months of aging in French oak barrels, it presents a deep garnet color with violet reflections. The nose delivers floral red fruit, blackberries, cedar, and subtle dark chocolate, while the palate is round and supple with fine-grained tannins, bright acidity, and an elegant, lingering finish. Château Dauzac has embraced biodynamic and organic farming principles across its 120-acre estate. The wine pairs beautifully with red meats, game, white meats, and aged cheeses.
