Tenuta di Trinoro is the flagship wine from the renowned Vini Franchetti estate in Sarteano, southeastern Tuscany. This Super Tuscan red is a proprietary blend led by Cabernet Franc with Merlot, sourced from limestone and clay soils. The blend changes each vintage based on the best grapes of the harvest.

The wine is matured for 11 months in cement tanks followed by 8 months in barrique, then given additional bottle aging before release. It is unfiltered, with an alcohol content of approximately 15% by volume. Dark, full, and concentrated, it offers aromas of dark berries, spices, and floral notes with a long, elegant finish supported by fine-grained tannins.

Tenuta di Trinoro consistently earns critical acclaim, with scores regularly in the mid-to-high 90s from Wine Advocate, James Suckling, Wine Spectator, Decanter, and Falstaff. Only several hundred cases are produced per vintage, making it highly collectible. Pairs well with dark meats, grilled dishes, game, and well-matured cheeses. Contains sulfites.
