Martin Ranch Winery's Merlot is a California red wine from the Santa Clara Valley appellation, produced by the husband-and-wife team of Thérèse and Dan Martin at their estate in Gilroy, CA. The winery was founded in 1993 when the Martins began planting on their 17-acre property, releasing their first commercial vintage in 2002.

The J.D. Hurley Merlot is Martin Ranch's signature Merlot bottling, consistently earning 90–91 point scores from Wine Enthusiast across multiple vintages. Tasting notes highlight aromas of smoked meat, woody cherry, and spice, with cranberry-sauce and orange-rind flavors on the palate supported by well-integrated oak. It is a medium-to-full-bodied red wine well suited to pairing with grilled meats, lamb, and hearty pasta dishes.

The 750ML bottle is sold in cases of 12 at Costco warehouses.
