Chateau Buena Vista Chardonnay Carneros is a premium California white wine from one of the state's most historic wineries, founded in 1857 as California's first premium winery. The Carneros appellation, situated at the southern tip of Napa and Sonoma valleys, is renowned for its cool climate influenced by winds and fog from San Pablo Bay, which extends the growing season and produces Chardonnay grapes with exceptional balance and complexity.

This Chardonnay opens with alluring aromas of ripe peaches, honeycomb, and vanilla, followed by bursts of tropical fruit flavors including pineapple, guava, and citrus. Notes of apple, pear, stone fruit, toasted brioche, and gentle oak round out the profile with crisp acidity on a lingering finish. The wine is hand harvested at night to preserve fruit character, whole cluster pressed, and 100% barrel fermented. It is aged approximately 8 months in French and Hungarian oak with lees stirring for added complexity and a rich, creamy texture. Alcohol content is 14.5% ABV.
