J. Henry & Sons 10th Anniversary Bourbon is a limited edition cask strength Wisconsin Straight Bourbon Whiskey created by Master Blenders Joe Z. Henry and Nancy Fraley in 2019 to honor the 10th anniversary of the first barrels aged on the Henry farm in Dane, Wisconsin. This exceptional bourbon features a meticulous blend of some of the distillery's oldest and most unique stock, ranging from 6 to 10+ years, to create what they call the "Mother's Blend." Bottled at 126.56 proof, this cask strength whiskey was produced in extremely limited quantities of only 1,200 bottles.

The bourbon is crafted using a unique four-grain mash bill consisting of 64% heirloom red corn, 14% heirloom Spooner rye, 14% heirloom Glacier winter wheat, and 8% malted barley, all grown on the third-generation Henry family farm just north of Madison, Wisconsin. The whiskey is aged in charred oak barrels that have been seasoned for a minimum of two years, lightly toasted to caramelize wood sugars, and finished with a level 3 char.

The tasting profile presents rich notes of butterscotch, toffee, vanilla bean ice cream with chocolate sauce, dark chocolate covered cherries, dried dates and figs, clove, and cinnamon. The finish includes notes of hickory smoke, chocolate chip banana bread, black pepper, and a lingering spicy sweetness of dark stone fruits. Each year, a small portion of the previous year's blend is held back so that it perpetually ages and develops, adding complexity to subsequent releases.
