Scotts Turf Builder Thick'R Lawn Sun & Shade is a 3-in-1 lawn care solution that combines grass seed, fertilizer, and soil improver to transform thin, weak lawns into thick, green turf. This product can deliver up to 50% thicker lawn with just one application when properly cared for. The formula contains Kentucky bluegrass, perennial ryegrass, and creeping red fescue seed to fill in bare spots and thin areas, 9-1-1 fertilizer to feed and strengthen existing grass, and soil improver to enhance root development.

Each 48 lb bag covers approximately 4,800 square feet. Best applied in late spring and again in late summer or early fall when temperatures range between 60°F and 80°F. Seeds germinate in 7-30 days with proper watering. Application is straightforward: mow lawn to 2 inches, rake to loosen topsoil and remove debris, apply with a Scotts spreader, and water daily for the first 2 weeks to keep soil surface moist.
