Umani Ronchi Vellodoro Pecorino is a 100% Pecorino white wine from the Abruzzo region of Italy, produced under the Terre di Chieti IGT designation. The Pecorino grape variety — also known as the "grape of the sheep" — takes its name from the ancient tradition of sheep ("pecora") grazing through vineyard lands on their seasonal migrations through the Apennine Mountains.

This bright straw-yellow wine presents intense aromas of fruit and flowers on the nose, with clear mineral notes. On the palate it shows good structure and pleasant freshness, with ripe fruit, lemon, apple, white flower, and sapid hints of minerality. The grapes are sourced from Roseto degli Abruzzi, overlooking the Gran Sasso mountain in the northern part of Chieti, from deep clay and sandy soils. Fermentation and aging take place entirely in stainless steel, preserving the wine's natural aromatics and crispness. Alcohol: 12.5%. Closed with natural cork. Vegan and vegetarian friendly.

Pairs well with fish, seafood, soft white cheeses, and oil-dressed pasta.
