Farm-raised King Salmon (Chinook salmon, Oncorhynchus tshawytscha) fillets, previously flash-frozen at peak freshness to preserve quality, moisture, and flavor. King Salmon is the largest and most prized of all Pacific salmon species, renowned for its exceptionally rich, buttery flavor and vibrant orange-pink flesh with generous natural marbling from high omega-3 content.
These fillets are boneless and ready to cook from thawed, making preparation simple and convenient. Farm-raised king salmon delivers consistent quality and availability year-round. The fish is versatile and well-suited to grilling, baking, pan-searing, roasting, steaming, or poaching. For best results, cook until the flesh is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
King Salmon is one of the most nutritionally dense fish available, providing approximately 179 calories per 3.5 oz serving with nearly 20g of high-quality complete protein. It is an exceptional source of omega-3 fatty acids (EPA, DHA, and DPA), which support heart and brain health. It is also one of the richest natural sources of Vitamin D (approximately 526 IU per 3.5 oz), along with significant levels of niacin, pyridoxine, magnesium, and phosphorus. Methyl mercury levels in king salmon measure just 0.022 PPM, placing it in the FDA's "best choice" category for regular consumption, including for pregnant and breastfeeding women (2โ3 servings per week).
