The name "La Maldita" translates to "The Damned One," a nod to the Garnacha grape's historical reputation for being difficult to cultivate — yet this wine triumphantly showcases the varietal's charm and elegance. Sourced from old vines planted in Tudelilla and Central Rioja, it is crafted with 30% of the wine aged in oak barrels for three months while the remainder matures on the lees in tanks, lending gentle complexity without sacrificing freshness. The wine is bottled at 14% ABV and contains sulphites.
