Mark Ryan Winery's Numbskull BDX is a bold Bordeaux-style red blend from Washington State's Walla Walla Valley, crafted from 76% Cabernet Sauvignon, 19% Merlot, and 5% Cabernet Franc. The wine is aged in French oak (24% new, 76% used), delivering a deep ruby color with aromas of black plum, vanilla bean, cedar chest, and worn leather.

The palate is boldly structured yet beautifully balanced, with sturdy tannins providing an age-worthy backbone and refreshing acidity. Flavors of fresh black cherry, ripe black plum, vanilla cream, and cigar box round out this rich, layered wine. The Numbskull label features distinctive flame-painted artwork by artist Cherylin Andre, created using scorch marks and soot.

First introduced with the 2014 vintage, Numbskull represents Mark Ryan Winery's exploration of Walla Walla Valley terroir. The winery has been producing premium Washington wine since 1999.
