Marion is an award-winning semi-sweet melomel from Superstition Meadery, a craft meadery based in Prescott, Arizona. Made from Arizona wildflower honey blended with marionberry, raspberry, and blueberry juices — 85% honey wine, 5% marionberry, 5% raspberry, and 5% blueberry — each 750ml bottle delivers a rich, complex mead at 13.5% ABV.

Marion pours a deep reddish-purple color with a still, medium body. The nose offers smashed fresh raspberry and blackberry with notes of rose, currant, honey, and herbal tea. On the palate, big jammy blackberry and black currant flavors lead, with well-balanced sweetness and acidity that lingers into a tart finish punctuated by light tannins and sharp honey. Alcohol is seamlessly integrated at 13.5%.

Named after Maid Marian — the legendary love interest of Robin Hood — Marion earned a Gold Medal at the 2016 Mazer Cup International Mead Competition and ranks among the top 50 meads in the world on both Ratebeer.com (100 points) and Untappd.
