Bourbon Barrel Aged Cabernet Sauvignon is a full-bodied California red wine that honors the pioneering spirit of Jacob and Frederick Beringer, who left Germany to found their Napa Valley winery and distillery over 145 years ago. Discovering that reusing their spirit barrels to age wine added remarkable complexity, this tradition lives on in every bottle. The wine is aged for 60 days in American oak bourbon barrels, imparting integrated tannins and layers of toasted vanilla, mocha, and melted licorice atop a rich dark fruit core.

On the nose, it opens with aromas of blackberry, dark chocolate, and vanilla cream. The palate is lush and ripe, delivering bold flavors of black currant, blackberry, cedar, and tobacco, with toasted hazelnuts, toffee, and black cherry preserves lingering on the finish.
