Provenance Vineyards Deadeye Red Blend is a Napa Valley red wine crafted at the intersection of meticulous vineyard selection and expert blending. The Deadeye name draws directly from the Provenance logo, where crosshairs over the "O" symbolize the winemaking precision behind every bottle. The blend is composed primarily of Cabernet Sauvignon with Petite Sirah, Merlot, Petit Verdot, and Malbec, sourced from outstanding Napa Valley vineyards including St. Helena, Howell Mountain, Oakville, and Spring Mountain.

Each block is night harvested for optimal maturity, then cold soaked to gently extract varietal character before fermentation. The wine spends 18 months in a combination of French, American, and Hungarian oak barrels, racked every three months to develop its signature mouthfeel and texture.

Expressive aromas of ripe black cherry, blackberry, and dark chocolate invite the senses, complemented by subtle notes of clove and spice. On the palate, structured tannins are rounded out by exuberant red berry fruits and vanilla bean flavors, finishing chewy, round, and plush. The 2019 vintage earned 90 points from James Suckling, while the 2017 and 2018 vintages each earned 92 points.
