The Northrock XC27 is a 27.5-inch mountain bike manufactured by Giant exclusively for Costco. It features a hand-built 6061 all-aluminum alloy press-formed frame that is light, responsive, and rustproof with integrated internal cable routing for a sleek look and enhanced performance. The medium 17.5-inch frame fits most riders 5 feet 7 inches to 6 feet 1 inch tall.

The bike is equipped with a Shimano Altus 21-speed drivetrain with rapid-fire shifters for quick-shifting, control, and precision. The Shimano alloy triple crank offers a 42/34/24T gear ratio allowing effortless climbing and efficient pedaling regardless of conditions. The drivetrain uses a KMC-Z50 chain for durability and reliability with a Shimano 14-28T cogset.

The SR Suntour XCE 27.5-inch front suspension fork with 80mm travel and adjustable preload handles unpredictable terrain. Maxxis Ikon 27.5-inch by 2.2-inch mountain tires provide quick acceleration and roll over obstacles with ease for greater control and agility. Alloy double-wall rims with stainless steel spokes offer lightweight strength and durability.

Tektro mechanical dual disc brakes deliver ultimate stopping power in any weather condition. The bike includes Velo ergonomic dual density comfort grips, a Velo mountain performance saddle, and NR 31.8mm low-rise black alloy handlebars. Additional features include universal mounts for water bottle cage, rear bike rack, child seat, or fenders, an alloy micro-adjust 30.9mm seat post with quick-release, sealed integrated threadless headset, and 32H alloy hubs with quick-release on both front and rear wheels.
