Aloe vera is ideal for both novice and experienced gardeners. Place plants in a bright spot with indirect sunlight, providing 6 to 8 hours of light daily. Water deeply but infrequently every 2 to 3 weeks, allowing the soil to dry out completely between waterings. Use well-draining soil in a pot with drainage holes to prevent root rot. Keep plants in temperatures between 55°F and 80°F (13°C to 27°C) in low to average humidity, and protect from frost.
