Fremont Brewing's 15th Anniversary Barleywine Ale is an exclusive limited-edition release from Seattle, WA, crafted to celebrate 15 years of brewing. This is an exclusive blend of 18 and 30-month old barrel-aged barleywine ale, aged in Heaven Hill bourbon barrels for a rich, complex character. The beer pours a hazy, ruby-brown color and is available in a 22oz wax-top bottle.

The aroma features strong oak character alongside caramel, toffee, brown sugar, molasses, vanilla, dried fruit, nutty notes, and whiskey. On the palate it is mildly sweet with gentle bitterness, subtly umami, and a moderate lingering sweetness. It has a medium body with some tingling carbonation, a definite alcohol burn, mild astringency, and a mildly mouthwatering finish. ABV is 15.4%, IBU 25.
