Landmark Hop Kiln Estate Pinot Noir is a celebrated single-estate red wine from the Russian River Valley in Sonoma County, California. Sourced from Landmark Vineyards' Hop Kiln Estate on Westside Road, a site recognized as a California Heritage Society historical landmark for its iconic stone hop kilns, this wine showcases the region's hallmark plush and rich Pinot Noir style. The estate features three distinct soil types that contribute complexity and depth to the fruit.

The wine is made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes, fully destemmed and fermented in small open-top fermenters with twice-daily punch-downs to gently extract color and flavor. It is then barrel-aged for 10 months in French oak with approximately 40% new oak, which imparts subtle vanilla and barrel spice without overwhelming the fruit. The resulting wine is ruby at the core with slow-forming tears at the rim, and offers aromas of ripe black cherry, black raspberry, and strawberry alongside savory notes of sweet tobacco and vanilla. On the palate, red plum, cranberry, and blackberry fruit lead into earthy notes of fall leaves and chanterelle mushroom, with a lengthy finish of cocoa and leather. Alcohol is approximately 14.4%.
