Fontodi Chianti Classico Gran Selezione "Vigna del Sorbo" is a flagship single-vineyard red wine produced by the Fontodi estate in Panzano in Chianti, Tuscany, Italy. Crafted from 100% Sangiovese grapes grown in the Vigna del Sorbo vineyard, it represents the apex of the Chianti Classico DOCG pyramid under the prestigious Gran Selezione designation, which requires a minimum of 30 months of aging.

The wine is known for its deep ruby-garnet color and complex aromatic profile of ripe dark cherry, plum, dried rose, leather, tobacco, and earthy minerality. On the palate it delivers structured tannins, vibrant acidity, and a long, elegant finish with notes of spice and savory herbs. Fontodi ages this wine in French oak barriques to add depth and refinement while preserving the character of the Sangiovese grape.
