Tesseron Estate Pym-Rae is a prestigious Napa Valley red blend produced on Mount Veeder by the Tesseron family, owners of Château Pontet-Canet, a classified Fifth Growth Bordeaux estate. The estate vineyard sits among Douglas firs and bristlecone pines at elevations up to 2,400 feet in the Mayacamas Mountains, on ancient volcanic clay and seabed soils ideal for Bordeaux varieties. This Costco offering is sold as a 3-bottle set of 750ML bottles.

The wine is crafted using biodynamic, "handmade" viticulture that focuses on the expression of terroir rather than cellar intervention. The blend is led by Cabernet Sauvignon with Merlot and, in select vintages, Cabernet Franc. Vinification takes place in a combination of 50% new French oak barrels and 50% concrete vats, resulting in wines with both depth and freshness. Production is limited to roughly 1,500 cases per vintage due to strict fruit selection.

Pym-Rae consistently earns extraordinary critical acclaim, with multiple vintages scoring 96–99 points from Wine Advocate, James Suckling, and Jeb Dunnuck. Tasting notes across vintages describe opulent aromas of black cherries, mulberries, plum preserves, dark chocolate, Indian spices, potpourri, sandalwood, and cinnamon. The palate is full-bodied with rich dark fruit, firm yet polished tannins, and long finishes with excellent aging potential of 25+ years.
