Melrose Vineyards Parker's Pinot Noir is an Oregon red wine from the Umpqua Valley, produced on the historic bench of the South Umpqua River. This Pinot Noir presents a light ruby red color with aromas of cigar box, violets, rosemary, and hints of plum. On the palate, flavors of fig, coffee, and red cherry fade to cedar and oak notes, finishing smooth and refreshing with a long tannic finish. The wine has an ABV of 13.5%.
Melrose Vineyards was founded by Wayne and the late Deedy Parker, who arrived in Southern Oregon in 1996 with a vision to establish a vineyard in what Wayne predicted would become one of the next great viticulture areas in the United States. The winery is situated on a historic site that was once an early French settlement established by the Archembeau family in the mid-1800s.
