Woodford Reserve Double Oaked is an innovative Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey featuring a unique twice-barreled maturation process. After aging in charred oak barrels, the bourbon is transferred to a second barrel that has been deeply toasted before a light charring, extracting additional soft, sweet oak character and creating a rich flavor profile unlike any other Kentucky bourbon.

This 90.4 proof (45.2% ABV) bourbon presents a deep amber appearance with a complex aromatic profile. The nose reveals rich notes of dark fruit, caramel, sharp honey, chocolate, marzipan, and toasted oak. On the palate, it delivers a full-bodied experience with layers of vanilla, dark caramel, hazelnut, apple, fruit, cinnamon, nutmeg, and spice. The finish is long and creamy with lingering hints of honeyed apple.

The flavor wheel encompasses grain notes of malt and rye, wood characteristics including almond, hazelnut, oak, and pecan, fruit and floral elements such as apple, cherry, cognac, orange, and pear, warming spices like cinnamon and nutmeg, and sweet aromatics of brown sugar, butterscotch, caramel, chocolate, honey, maple syrup, marzipan, and vanilla.
