Argiano Solengo is a prestigious Super-Tuscan red wine from the renowned Montalcino region, created by world-famous oenologist Giacomo Tachis for the historic Argiano estate. This distinguished blend combines Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Merlot, and Sangiovese from vines ranging in age from 15 to 22 years old, grown at elevations of 280 to 310 meters over marl and ancient clay with high limestone content.

Each varietal is fermented separately, with maceration and malolactic fermentation conducted in cement tanks. The assembled wine is then aged for 18 months in French barriques specially crafted for Solengo, with 60% new oak and 40% second-use barrels. The wine exhibits an intense, almost impenetrable ruby red color with elegant aromas of ripe plum, cherry, fresh thyme, and peppery notes. On the palate, it offers fresh herbs, juicy multilayered flavors, fine-grained velvety tannins, and an animated acidity that finishes seamlessly and very long. This balanced and harmonious wine showcases floral notes, blueberries, black fruits, balsamic streaks, and spicy oak characteristics. With 14.5% alcohol content, this wine pairs excellently with beef and venison dishes.
