Belle Glos Dairyman Vineyard Pinot Noir is a premium single-vineyard wine from the Russian River Valley in Sonoma County, California. Deep garnet to dark plum in color, this wine offers abundant aromas of dark chocolate, black cherry, and blackberry pie with hints of black currant and cedar. The palate features layered flavors of blackberry and raspberry pie filling, accompanied by notes of cinnamon, chocolate, and nutmeg, with smooth and refined tannins and a mouthwatering finish.
The Dairyman Vineyard sits in the southern alluvial plains of the Russian River Valley near the Pacific Ocean, where cool morning fog flows through the Petaluma Gap and afternoon breezes moderate warm sunshine, creating an uncommonly long growing season. Once an old dairy farm and pastureland, this vineyard was first planted in 2000 to a mix of Dijon clones 115, 667, and 777 on low-vigor rootstock, producing small, concentrated, and flavorful berries. The wine is aged in 100% French oak barrels, with 60% new oak, for up to nine months.
This Costco offering comes in a large-format 1.5L magnum bottle, equivalent to two standard bottles. The wine has earned a 94-point rating from Wine Enthusiast with Editors' Choice designation, noted for its beautiful, pure, and focused fruit flavors with tart cherries, black cherries, blueberries, and black tea nuances. Best enjoyed from 2026-2032. The wine has 15% ABV and showcases the signature Belle Glos style of layered, complex, fruit-forward California Pinot Noir.
