Calera de Villiers Vineyard Mt. Harlan Pinot Noir is one of Calera's most celebrated single-vineyard expressions, sourced from high-elevation vines on Mt. Harlan in San Benito County, California. The de Villiers Vineyard is named after Marq de Villiers, author of "The Heartbreak Grape," which chronicles the founding story of Calera and founder Josh Jensen's obsessive quest to grow Burgundian-style Pinot Noir on limestone soils in California.

Vintage after vintage, de Villiers delivers one of Calera's most voluptuous and dark-fruited Pinot Noirs. The wine is known for its rich, full-bodied character with deep red and dark berry fruit, earthy complexity, and the signature minerality that comes from Mt. Harlan's unique limestone geology. Recent vintages have earned 93–96 point scores from publications including Wine Spectator, Wine Enthusiast, and James Suckling. Calera is part of the Duckhorn Portfolio family of wineries.
