Shibui Pure Malt 10 Year is an award-winning Japanese world whisky and recipient of the Best Asian Whisky in the World Trophy at the 2023 International Wine & Spirit Competition. Crafted in Niigata, Japan, this expression is a marriage of 100% malted barley whiskies sourced from both Niigata, Japan and the lowlands of Scotland, each aged a minimum of 10 years before blending.

Distilled in double copper pot stills, the whisky is matured for at least a decade in American ex-bourbon barrels and European Oloroso Sherry casks, then given a final finish in rare Japanese Mizunara Oak. It is bottled non-chill filtered at 43% ABV with natural color, preserving its full character. This 750ml bottle represents a case-format offering (6 bottles per case).

On the nose, refined aromas of almond, ginger, and caramel cookies open to a creamy palate featuring notes of coffee and rich dark chocolate. The finish is long and complex with spiced oak. Additional accolades include a 96-point gold score from the IWSC, a 95-point Chairman's Trophy from the Ultimate Spirits Challenge, a World Whisky Masters Medal from The Spirits Business 2024, and inclusion in the USC Top 100 Spirits list.
