Shibui 15 Year Sherry Cask is a single grain Japanese whisky crafted at the historic Masahiro Distillery in Okinawa, established in 1883. Distilled twice using stainless-steel pot stills from premium Indica long grain rice and fermented with Okinawan black koji and yeast, this expression spends 15 years maturing in the subtropical climate of Okinawa before bottling.

The whisky is matured exclusively in first-fill Ex-Fino and Manzanilla Sherry oak casks, drawing rich aromas of plums, Belgian chocolate, and macadamia nuts over its long maturation. On the palate, tasting notes include milk chocolate, caramel, and macadamia nuts, with a deep and luscious mouthfeel from the sherry cask influence. Bottled at 43% ABV, it is non-chill filtered and natural color, preserving the full character of the spirit.

This expression has earned a 92-point score from the International Wines & Spirits Competition, Whisky Advocate, and Ultimate Spirits Challenge, making it one of the most decorated single grain Japanese whiskies available.
