Klipsun Cabernet Sauvignon is a single-vineyard red wine sourced exclusively from Klipsun Vineyard in the Red Mountain AVA of Washington State. Red Mountain is one of Washington's most acclaimed wine appellations, known for its warm days, cool nights, and basalt-rich soils that produce intensely concentrated, structured wines.

The 2022 vintage is a blend of 76% Cabernet Sauvignon, 16% Merlot, 7% Syrah, and 1% Malbec, with 14.5% alcohol by volume. It is aged 14 months in French oak, 50% new. The wine exhibits aromas of dried cranberry, plum, and fresh berry intertwined with spice and aromatic dry herbs. On the palate, it delivers rich blackberry and dark red fruits with nuances of wild sage, cocoa spice, and toasty oak, finishing with a lavishly bold yet elegantly smooth character and dusty tannins.

Klipsun Vineyard was established in 1982 and is regarded as one of Washington's premier "First Growth" vineyards, listed among the "25 Great Vineyards of the World" by Wine & Spirits Magazine. The wine drinks beautifully upon release but benefits from up to 10 years of cellaring to develop more nuanced savory fruit expression. Sold in a case of 6 x 750ML bottles.
