Joto Junmai Nigori "The Blue One" is a premium Japanese sake brewed by the Nakao Brewery in Hiroshima Prefecture, founded in 1871 and currently managed by the 6th generation of the family. This nigori-style sake features a cloudy, unfiltered appearance that creates a creamy, almost chewy texture on the palate.

Unlike most nigori sakes which tend to be syrupy sweet, Joto Nigori offers a sophisticated balance with bright tropical fruit notes of ripe mango, coconut, and banana complemented by dry, earthy undertones. As a junmai sake, it provides an earthy, almost herbaceous quality that balances the milky, coconutty fruit characteristics typical of the nigori style. The brewery has pioneered revolutionary techniques and ingredients in the sake industry, resulting in a more food-friendly and complex nigori.

This versatile sake pairs exceptionally well with rich, bold foods including burgers, steaks, and spicy Asian cuisines such as Thai, Vietnamese, and Indian curries. Best served chilled at approximately 45-50°F to appreciate its fresh tropical notes and creamy texture.
