Wish Farms Pink-A-Boo Pineberries are a rare and distinctive strawberry variety grown in Plant City, Florida. These berries are a natural hybrid descended from North American strawberries (Fragaria virginiana) and Chilean strawberries (Fragaria chiloensis), making them a completely non-GMO fruit. Each berry features pale white-to-blush-pink flesh with red seeds — the opposite coloring of a traditional strawberry — and they ripen to a delicate light pink rather than the typical deep red.

Pineberries are slightly smaller than conventional commercial strawberries and offer a flavor that resembles a strawberry with a subtle hint of pineapple. They are notably less tart than regular strawberries and carry a slightly buttery character. The berries are harvested ripe and are ready to eat straight from the clamshell — no preparation required. They are best enjoyed on their own or paired with whipped cream and other desserts.
