Buffalo Trace Kosher Rye Recipe is a Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey created in partnership with the Chicago Rabbinical Council. This expression uses the same high-quality grains as Buffalo Trace Bourbon Whiskey, made from a mash of yellow #2 dent corn, plump rye grains, and malted barley. The spirit is double-distilled through column stills and aged for 7 years in first-fill American oak barrels that have been heavily charred, with special care taken to ensure no contact with non-kosher spirits. Bottled at 94 proof (47% ABV).

The nose offers vanilla and molasses, while the palate delivers pleasant sweetness with a spicy kick, brown sugar, toffee, fruit, and oak notes. The finish is smooth and long. This limited-release kosher bourbon is released yearly after Passover.
