David Finlayson Cabernet Sauvignon is a classic red wine from the Stellenbosch appellation within South Africa's Coastal Region, produced by winemaker David Finlayson. The wine is crafted from select Cabernet Sauvignon clones grown across multiple sites in Stellenbosch, one of South Africa's most celebrated wine-growing areas.

On the nose, the wine offers aromas of dark and red berries, cassis, and blackcurrant with a fresh, minty herbaceousness. The palate delivers rich fruit flavors with mocha and vanilla oak notes, firm structured tannins, and a vibrant acidity that gives the wine good backbone and length. The finish is long with a dry, clean character and solid ageing potential. The 2021 vintage was awarded 4.5 Stars from the Platter's South African Wine Guide, and the 2018 vintage received a CellarTracker community score of 89.1 points.
