Two Angels Petite Sirah is a bold, full-bodied red wine sourced entirely from 100% Petite Sirah grapes grown in the highly-acclaimed Red Hills appellation of Lake County, California. The vineyards sit at 1,700 feet elevation above the northeast shores of Clear Lake, where steep mountain ridges rise to 3,000 feet, iron-rich red soils, and Obsidian-laced terrain provide exceptional drainage and complexity. Higher elevations and Lake County's pure mountain air allow for up to 10% more UV light exposure than neighboring sea-level valleys, producing grapes of remarkable intensity.

After hand-harvesting and careful de-stemming, the wine ferments before being aged for nine months in French Oak barrels, 20% new. The result is a deeply-colored, inky purple wine with layered aromas of blackberry, blueberry, boysenberry, plum, mocha, toasted wood, leather, and subtle smoky-umami notes. On the palate it is rich and powerful yet possesses a silkiness that belies its weight, with mature, purposeful tannins well-matched to voluptuous ripe fruit and balanced acidity. The finish is long, luxurious, and dry. The wine has received scores of 92-94 points from Wine Enthusiast, Wine & Spirits, and Tasting Panel magazine across recent vintages.
