Mishima Nori Komi Furikake is a traditional Japanese rice seasoning made with roasted white and black sesame seeds, dried black seaweed, salt, and sugar. This dry condiment is designed to be sprinkled on top of cooked rice, vegetables, and fish to add savory umami flavor and texture. The product contains no artificial flavors, preservatives, or MSG. Mishima uses superior quality ingredients and in-house production to ensure freshness, keeping bonito whole until needed and cooking seaweed in small batches.
This versatile seasoning works on much more than rice. It enhances eggs, popcorn, poke bowls, ramen, sushi rice, onigiri, omelettes, home-made crackers, and various Asian dipping sauces. The combination of roasted sesame seeds and crispy seaweed provides authentic Japanese flavor with a satisfying crunch. Mishima Foods is one of the largest seasoning manufacturers in Japan and distributes through major retailers including Costco, with products featured in restaurants by celebrity chef Sam Choy.
