Crafted from 96% Merlot and 4% Cabernet Franc, the grapes are sourced from benchmark vineyards including Stone Tree, Weinbau, Ravenscliff, King Fuji, and Southwind within the Wahluke Slope AVA. The wine is aged in a combination of French and American oak barrels to develop depth and complexity.

On the nose, aromas of ripe dark fruit—plum, cherry, and blackberry—are complemented by baking spice, vanilla, and chocolate. The palate is full-bodied and opulent, with rounded tannins and earthy undertones of tobacco, cedar, and clove giving way to notes of vanilla and mocha. The finish is long, smooth, and lingering.
