Margerum Riviera Rosé is a dry, crisp rosé wine from Santa Barbara County, California — a region known as the "American Riviera" for its southern-facing, Mediterranean climate. The wine is crafted by winemaker Doug Margerum, who consulted at a winery in the south of France for four years, bringing an authentic Provençal style to this California bottling.

The blend is built on Grenache, Mourvèdre, and Syrah grapes picked specifically for rosé production. After harvest, the grapes are crushed and immediately pressed into stainless steel tanks for a long, cold fermentation. Additional color and complexity come from saignée lots of Counoise, Cinsault, and Grenache — a winemaking technique where a portion of lightly colored juice is bled off from red must shortly after crush. The finished wine is matured in 95% stainless steel and 5% barrel-fermented lots, yielding a wine that is light, fresh, and food-friendly. Tasting notes include subtle raspberry, rhubarb, sweet-tart fruit, and a dry, savory finish.
