DayQuil Severe Drug Facts per 30 mL dose: Acetaminophen 650 mg (pain reliever/fever reducer), Dextromethorphan HBr 20 mg (cough suppressant), Guaifenesin 400 mg (expectorant), Phenylephrine HCl 10 mg (nasal decongestant). Adults and children 12 years and over: take 30 mL every 4 hours, do not exceed 4 doses in 24 hours. Children 4 to under 12 years: ask a doctor.

Warnings: Liver warning - this product contains acetaminophen. Severe liver damage may occur if you take more than 4 doses in 24 hours, if used with other drugs containing acetaminophen, or if you consume 3 or more alcoholic drinks every day while using this product. Do not use with any other drug containing acetaminophen, if you are taking a prescription monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI), or for 2 weeks after stopping the MAOI drug.
