Duluth Coffee Company's Guatemala Huehuetenango is a 2.2 lb bag of whole bean coffee sourced from smallholder producers in the Sierra de los Cuchumatanes mountain range of northwestern Guatemala, near the Mexican border. This region's high elevation, rich volcanic soils, and shade-tree cultivation practices create ideal conditions for producing exceptional coffee.

The beans are processed using a washed method, in which the coffee cherries are peeled and the fruit is fermented and washed away before drying. This produces a classic and bold cup with a full city medium roast profile. Flavor notes include cacao, golden raisin, and black cherry, with undertones of creamy caramel and milk chocolate. The coffee is grown using sustainable organic farming practices and is fully caffeinated.

Bean varieties include Caturra, Catuai, and Pache — traditional Guatemalan cultivars known for their balance of brightness and body.
