The Double Waterfall Orchid is a Phalaenopsis orchid variety prized for its graceful, cascading bloom spikes that arch downward in a flowing waterfall arrangement. This double-spike specimen features two flower-laden arching stems, producing an abundant and visually striking display of blooms in a 5-inch pot with 23oz (680ml) of growing medium. Flower colors vary and may include white, pink, purple, or pale yellow with contrasting markings.

Phalaenopsis orchids, often called Moth Orchids, are among the easiest orchids to grow indoors. Blooms typically last two to three months and the plant can be encouraged to rebloom with proper seasonal care. Place in a location with bright, indirect sunlight and water once per week with approximately a quarter cup of lukewarm water, allowing excess to drain fully. Avoid direct sun exposure and overwatering, both of which can damage roots.

To encourage reblooming after flowers fade, prune spent bloom spikes and move the plant to a cooler location (55-65°F) for several weeks until a new spike begins to emerge from the base. Fertilize every other week with a diluted balanced orchid fertilizer during the growing phase, reducing frequency when the plant is resting.
