Le Garenne Sancerre Blanc is a 100% Sauvignon Blanc white wine from Verdigny, in the heart of Sancerre, Loire Valley, France. Crafted by Laurent Reverdy, a 6th generation Sancerre winemaker, this single vineyard wine is dry-farmed and made entirely in stainless steel with no oak aging. It features less than 2 g/L residual sugar and minimal sulfites (under 75 ppm), with an alcohol content of 12.5%.

The wine opens with lovely green apple and lemon notes complemented by hints of tropical fruit. On the palate it is tasty and tangy with good depth of fruit flavor, balanced acidity, and a refreshing quality. The boisterous green aromatics often found in Sauvignon Blanc have been skillfully restrained, allowing clean fruity layers to shine through. The finish is dry and quite long with lingering tart fruit and a touch of chalky minerality.

Pairs beautifully with soft tangy goat cheese (crottin) and delicate flat fish in a caper sauce. Imported by Asgram.
