La Poderina Brunello di Montalcino is a premium Italian red wine crafted from 100% Sangiovese Grosso grapes grown in the renowned Castelnuovo dell'Abate area of Montalcino, Tuscany. This DOCG wine represents the highest expression of Montalcino winemaking, showcasing the elegance and depth characteristic of the southeast area of the denomination.

The wine is produced by La Poderina estate, part of Tenute del Cerro, using high-quality cultivation systems with yields of 60 quintals per hectare, well below the 80 quintals allowed by regulations. After manual harvest, the wine undergoes fermentation and maceration in stainless steel at controlled temperatures with daily pumping over and délestage. The wine then ages in oak barrels for 20 months, with weekly batonnage for the first 4 months, following the estate's philosophy of innovation at the service of tradition using both French oak barriques and large barrels.

The taste is intense and strong, slightly tannic, soft and persistent, with 14.5% alcohol content. This wine has received numerous accolades including James Suckling 92-94 points, Wine Advocate 92 points, Wine Enthusiast 95 points, Vinous 93 points, and Jeb Dunnuck 93 points across various vintages. Perfect pairing with roasted white or red meat, poultry, game, and aged cheeses. Best served at 18°C in large glasses. Contains sulfites.
