Wuliangye No.8 is a premium Chinese baijiu representing the eighth generation of this legendary spirit from Sichuan Province. This strong aroma (nongxiang) baijiu is crafted from five grains: sorghum, glutinous rice, rice, wheat, and corn, honoring a tradition dating back to the Ming Dynasty. The distillery still uses ancient mud fermentation pits from this historic period.

At 52% ABV, this baijiu offers a complex sensory experience with a floral and peppery nose, prominent notes of pineapple and licorice on the palate, followed by hints of fresh apricots, Szechuan pepper, and soy sauce. The finish is long, dry, and creamy with lingering dried fruit and yeast notes. Wuliangye stands out among strong aroma baijius for its cleaner, more pronounced sweetness and fruit-forward character.
