The Hakushu 18 Year Peated Malt is a limited edition Japanese single malt whisky created in honor of Suntory Whisky's 100th anniversary. This exceptional expression features carefully selected malt whiskies all aged for a minimum of 18 years in various casks including ex-Bourbon and Sherry casks. Produced at Suntory's mountain forest distillery in Yamanashi, Japan, the whisky benefits from the region's exceptional soft mountain water filtered through ancient granite rocks.

The nose presents vibrant top notes of sage, ripe green apple, and hints of ripe pineapple. On the palate, complex smoke reveals layers of herbal notes, grapefruit, and acacia honey, with additional notes of caramel, vanilla, and spice from its Bourbon cask aging. The finish is clean with lingering smoke and undernotes of fresh green citrus. The appearance is a luminous gold color.

This whisky is bottled at 43% ABV and is non-chill-filtered with no coloring added. It meets the standards set by the Japan Spirits & Liqueurs Makers Association for labeling Japanese Whisky.
