This boneless American Wagyu beef chuck steak is priced and sold per pound, offering an exceptional value on a premium cut from the chuck primal. American Wagyu is cross-bred from Japanese Wagyu genetics and American cattle, producing beef with deeply marbled intramuscular fat that is finer in texture and more evenly distributed than conventional beef. The result is a steak with a rich, intensely beefy flavor and a natural tenderness that sets it apart from standard chuck cuts.
The chuck primal is located in the shoulder area and benefits greatly from Wagyu's superior marbling, which keeps the meat moist and flavorful during extended cooking. This cut is ideal for low-and-slow preparation methods including smoking, braising, slow cooking, and sous vide. For best results, sear the steak on all sides before slow cooking to develop a crust and lock in juices, then cook to an internal temperature of at least 145°F. Allow the steak to rest for a minimum of five minutes after cooking to let the juices reabsorb before slicing or serving.
