Sea Sun Pinot Noir is a California red wine crafted by winemaker Charlie Wagner, whose family founded the renowned Caymus Vineyards. This is the personal project of the Wagner family, showcasing the coastal regions of California through a beautifully blended Pinot Noir.

Grapes are sourced from three distinct California coastal regions, each contributing unique character to the blend. Monterey County provides lush, fully ripened fruit with vibrant acidity. Solano County lends richness and depth from its warmer conditions. San Luis Obispo County contributes roundness on the palate, shaped by an extended growing season cooled by Pacific Ocean breezes and daily sunshine.

The wine offers aromas of cherry, light toasted wood, dry earth, and clove. On the palate, flavors of fresh cherry and raspberry are complemented by a plush, milk chocolate-like texture and notes of cherry compote with a wisp of florals on the finish. It is described as a layered wine with a singularly soft texture and bright, highly enjoyable character. The sourcing composition may shift vintage to vintage, allowing the winemakers to optimize quality based on growing conditions each year.
