Isle of Harris Gin is an award-winning, small-batch craft gin distilled and bottled on the Isle of Harris in the Outer Hebrides, Scotland, by Isle of Harris Distillers Ltd, based in Tarbert. The gin is presented in a beautifully designed bottle with a distinctive textured spiral pattern and a natural wooden cork stopper, capturing the elemental character of the island.

At 45% ABV, this gin is crafted using nine carefully chosen botanicals: sustainably hand-harvested Outer Hebridean Sugar Kelp seaweed, Macedonian Juniper Berries, English Coriander Seed, Cubebs/Javan Pepper, Bitter Orange Peel, Angelica Root, Cassia Bark, Orris Root, and Liquorice Root. The Sugar Kelp is harvested from the surrounding Hebridean seas by local diver and seaweed expert Lewis Mackenzie, lending the gin its hallmark maritime depth and complexity.

On the nose, a well-defined juniper note with pine needles opens immediately, followed by fresh citrus of bitter orange, lime, and grapefruit, alongside a complex floral note of rose and wallflowers, crushed green herbs, coriander, gooseberry, and mixed spice. The Sugar Kelp contributes a dry, maritime richness. On the palate, the gin is refreshing and smooth with fine balance between bitter juniper and pine and sweet fruit flavors of mango, grapefruit, and orange, with a green herb note of crushed coriander developing mid-palate. The finish is long and clean, with sweet vanilla and black pepper lingering as the juniper and citrus recede, leaving a gentle reminder of the sea.
