The active ingredient fluticasone propionate works directly in the nose to help block allergic reactions at the source by acting on multiple inflammatory substances including histamine, prostaglandins, cytokines, tryptases, chemokines, and leukotrienes. This is more comprehensive than most common over-the-counter allergy pills which act on histamine alone. You may start to feel relief on the first day, with full effectiveness achieved after several days of regular once-daily use.

Recommended usage for adults and children 12 years and older: Week 1 use 2 sprays in each nostril once daily, Week 2 through 6 months use 1 or 2 sprays in each nostril once daily as needed.
