Don Julio Primavera is a limited release reposado tequila that honors the legacy of Don Julio González and his original distillery "La Primavera" established in 1942 in Atotonilco El Alto, Jalisco, Mexico. This deliciously smooth expression takes Don Julio's traditional Reposado, matured for 8 months in American white oak barrels, and finishes it in a highly coveted European cask which previously held wine infused with macerated orange peel. Made from 100% Blue Weber agave, this tequila offers a bold scent of honeyed agave and citrus on the nose, with a silky, sophisticated taste of honey and citrus with hints of spice which rolls over the tongue. The finish is light and citrus-forward, making it perfect for sipping on the rocks with an orange wheel or in cocktails like the Primavera Sunset. Bottled at 40% ABV.
