Château Corbin 2018 Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Classé is a prestigious Bordeaux red wine from one of the oldest estates in Saint-Émilion, dating back to the 15th century. This vintage blends 90% Merlot with 10% Cabernet Franc, reaching 15% ABV. The estate's 12.31-hectare vineyard sits in the northwest of the Saint-Émilion appellation, near Pomerol, on terroir of sand and clay with iron deposits.

The 2018 vintage is considered one of the finest produced at the estate, earning 93 points from The Wine Cellar Insider. It presents elegant, refined, silky, and fresh characteristics with beautiful purity and symmetry. Expect sweet red pit fruits on both the nose and palate, complemented by notes of blueberry, baked plums, incense, ground cloves, violets, and camphor. The wine was aged approximately 16 months in 40% new French oak barrels.

Managed by Anabelle Cruse-Bardinet, a Bordeaux University enology graduate representing the fourth generation of the Cruse family, the estate has been on a remarkable quality upswing since the 2009 vintage. Best enjoyed between 2024 and 2040, this wine pairs beautifully with classic meat dishes, lamb, duck, game, roast chicken, and rich fish courses. Serve at 15.5°C (60°F) for optimal freshness and lift.
