The wine is crafted from 100% estate-grown Pinot Noir sourced from three distinct high-elevation sites — Mt. Pajaro, Alpine, and Horseshoe vineyards — with elevations ranging from 400 to 1,610 feet. The appellation's cool climate, moderated by both the Pacific Ocean and San Francisco Bay, produces wines of exceptional finesse, complexity, and natural balance.

Winemaking follows a minimalist, gravity-fed approach in a cave facility, emphasizing terroir expression over winemaker intervention. Grapes are hand-harvested and fermented with native yeasts, with 12% whole-cluster inclusion cold-soaked for five days and gently foot-trodden twice daily during fermentation.
