Dewar's Blended Scotch Japanese Smooth Oak Cask Finished

Dewar's Japanese Smooth is an 8-year-old Blended Scotch Whisky finished in Japanese Mizunara oak casks, representing the fourth release in Dewar's innovative Cask Series Collection. It is crafted from up to thirty single malt and grain whiskies, each matured for a minimum of 8 years, then finished in Mizunara oak casks for six months to add remarkable complexity and depth.

The whisky delivers a smooth, approachable character with tasting notes of honey, vanilla, coconut, and sandalwood spice. The nose features subtle floral honey and heather, while the palate reveals cinnamon and sandalwood warmth. Bottled at 40% ABV in a 750ml format, this expression bridges Scottish and Japanese whisky traditions in a distinctive and harmonious way.

Dewar's Japanese Smooth has earned a Gold medal at the 2023 World Whiskies Awards and consistent 91-point ratings from Whisky Advocate, Mark Gillespie's Whisky Cast, and Paul Pacult's Spirit Journal.
